| Black Crowes frontman Chris Robinson
had to postpone a band photo shoot after sustaining a black eye and bruised ribs during a bar fight with two other unnamed men last week. No tour dates will be affected by the incident. Though it is unknown at press time who or what started the argument, Robinson and his girlfriend, actress Elisa Leonetti (Faithful, Pure Danger) -- who were drinking at the Whiskey Bar in the Sunset Marquis hotel in Los Angeles at the time -- were taken out to their car by security at about 2 a.m. (PDT). The two unnamed men, who were bloodied in the fight, were also escorted out. According to a statement released by the band's publicity firm, the Mitch Schneider Organization, Robinson was going to be banned from the bar forever, until a manager pointed out that the singer and his friends have racked up a large bar tab over the last year and a half. No charges are expected to be filed regarding the incident either, says a spokesperson for the Black Crowes. |
